At the CO2 Foundation we:

– Communicate the centrality of extreme weather for understanding climate change.

– Galvanize public and nonpartisan political support for wise climate action that accounts for atmospheric CO2 residence time – approximately 1,000 years. CO2 persistence means that policies focusing only on emissions reduction are inadequate to protect natural and human communities.

– Offer neuroscience-informed learning tools that help people engage their best values, plus move beyond widespread misunderstandings about science and societal impacts of the climate crisis.

– Focus on a positive fix: climate restoration that includes effective CO2 removal.
